The huge six axle diesels of the German class Br250 used to be the biggest diesel locomotives in use in Germany still not so very long ago. They used to be known as "Blue Tigers". Today, none of those tigers is blue any more, but here is one of them nevertheless, now in the colours of Captrain. The blue tigers used to be produced by ADtranz (now bankrupt) as their type DE-AC33C. 11 locomotives were built for Germany, 20 for Malaysia and 30 for Pakistan.
