Appearantly there is either a big kite store or supply house somewhere in one of the resort areas of Colorado. I am either looking for their name or their telephone number. I live in an area where kites are basically non-existent and I need some parts to repair my 2 line stunt kite. Can anyone help? It is located right on the mall (surface street that has been blocked off to automobile traffic). Enjoy the other shops and coffee houses along the mall as well. Hey, take the time to enjoy Boulder and its environs. An absolutley lovely city. Do the tour of herbal tea company outside of town. Great Mexican food, Thia food, etc. Also hike, bike, or skate along the trail/greenway that is beside the creek that runs throuhg town. The folks at Into the Wind are friendly and knowledgable. They do an enormous mail order business. Their catalog is 80 plus pages and full color. You can get their 800 number from information. Their are also at least one kite store in Denver, but Denver doesn't strike me as a resort area. Every time I have been in Colorado I have made an effort to get out of Denver pronto. (I do not work for the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, nor do I have a financial interst in Into the Wind, I just love Boulder.) Jim Feldt, Athens, Georgia, USA ... May the gods smile upon whatever kite you send aloft. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Thu, 14 Sep 1995 06:39:24 -1000 From: Steve Scovill Message-Id: <439lrs$3a6@news-2.csn.net> Organization: COBE BCT Subject: Re: kite stores and suppliers in Colorado. Thanks Yes, Into the Wind is a good spot to check... But I have a friend that is opening a new store in CastleRock. He's probably not listed, but you can contact him at stephen909@aol.com. He should be able to set you up with parts and supplies as well as a fresh collection of new kites. He's got a Grand Opening coming soon and I would like to see multitudes of fliers and wannabe's join in.
