Subject: FUTURE OF SPORT KITING EVENTS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

I apologize for not giving more specific information about the meeting
that is scheduled for Sept. 23rd at the Santa Monica Pier (site of this
year's LASKC). 
The meeting will begin promptly at 11am. Many people have been invited to
attend including Bert Tanaka, Hoy from BFK, Dave Shenkman of The Kite
Connection, Tom Stoner and Barbara Dockendorf (Dos Papalotes), Steve Kent
at Kites Etc., Victor at Kite Country, Walt Thompson our AKA regional
director, Ron Despojado (Quadliner Extraordinaire) and Pres. of the San
Diego Kite Club, and Jim Campbell (Leading Edge Kites). If anyone else
would like to attend, you are more than welcome. If we don't start
planning now, things just will not happen.
