Yes, that is one of the best places to mett flyers in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area. The guy who sells the kites doesn't organize it, so to speak, but he is there every single weekend. Go by, and tell him that Jason told you to stop by and fly for a while.. You'd be more than welcome. That little dinky field on the side of the Belt Parkway, has turned out some of the Nations best competitive kite flyers, so you might want to drop by and meet Lance Wagner, Dorothy Wagner, Sandy Wagner, Myself, Steve Karatzas, Ming Quock and sometimes even Dennis Smith will show up...
